London Sport Consultancy Webinar series: key learnings shared with the sport and physical activity sector
Over the past few months, London Sport Consultancy have been sharing valuable insights and knowledge with the sport and physical activity sector across two of our service areas, Funding, and Research and Insight.
Now, we’re reflecting on the key learnings shared from the London Sport Consultancy webinar series so far.
In January, London Sport Consultancy Funding expert Aaron Dunkley shared an introduction to grant funding in a webinar exploring the UK funding landscape, types of funding available, and best practice for identifying and engaging funders.
Aaron explored strategies to think creatively about fundraising, improving grant-readiness, and bolstering fundraising exploits.
Following this, in February, Aaron highlighted his top tips for grant funding applications. The webinar explored the ‘dos and don’ts’ of grant applications, essential bid-writing tips, and advice on consulting with your target audience and external partners in the physical activity and sport sector.
Last week, in the third instalment of the London Sport Consultancy webinar series, Aaron, along with London Sport’s Insight Consultancy Manager Josh Denington, shared valuable learnings on project planning and impact measurementfor the sport and physical activity sector.
Aaron and Josh focused on the importance of monitoring and evaluation, what tools to use to measure the social impact of your work, and shared case studies of best practice of social reporting in action.
